Activities

The mountains are a wonderful place to enjoy Nature. With more than 300 days of sunshine, the San Bernardino Mountains are the place to be in both the summer and winter.

Lake Gregory and Big Bear Lake have trout and are well known for fishing by boat, waiters, or from the shore. Boat rentals are available on both lakes.

Lake Arrowhead Village offers Shopping, Dining and Entertainment (It's Their Nature!). The Village celebrates many special events throughout the year - Easter, the 4th of July, Oktoberfest and Christmas, to name a few, and enjoys live music and activities throughout the Village on most weekends.

Big Bear Lake is seven miles long with plenty of room for water skiing, wakeboarding, paddling and sailing. Or, rent a pontoon boat! There are several marinas with all varieties of water gear for rent.

There are plenty of trails for mountain biking, hiking and off-roading. Everything from Group Horse Camps to Remote Wilderness Camping is available in the San Bernardino Mountains. Check with the local Ranger Stations.

Winter sports enthusiasts can enjoy snowboarding and skiing at Snow Valley and Big Bear Mountain. There are also several places to take the family sledding in the snow.
